The Battle For Your Wrist

There’s an epic battle being waged across the world. The battle line storms across the wrists and pockets of the soldiers of time keeping. It’s a final showdown between analog watches, digital watches, and pocket watches.
The “Pocket Watch” camp is full of steampunk fans and lovers of yore. Yore that is too “yore” to be retro (what the heck did that just mean?!). Pocket watches get passed down through families. From father to son to grandson, these beautiful discs of history are cherished heirlooms. With their ornate treasure tucked inside a coat pocket or hip pocket, pocket watch wearers view the “wrist people” with smug and distant interest. Pocket watch wearers know that the “Analogs” and the “Digitals” will thin out each other and make it easier for them to rule the world. All they have to do is bide their time. Time—that they can watch in the palm of their hands.
The “Analogs” prefer an analog face on their wrist watches. A fake analog face won’t do. No, a digital readout that looks like an analog watch isn’t good enough. “Analogs” only value a true analog watch. A sweeping second-hand, a ticking minute hand, and a short tocking hour hand are all critically important. Sometimes a date and day can be displayed, but for the most part analog watches are all about the time. “Analogs” prefer a simpler more refined face upon their timepieces.

It's a fight to the death between analog and digital clock lovers - who will win?
The “Digitals” prefer a digital face upon their watches. They want to know if it’s 3:38 at a glance and not guess if it’s 3:37 or 3:39. “About quarter till” isn’t good enough for this sort. They don’t want to fool around with hands. A clean and clear digital readout fits them. The date is always “at wrist” for this bunch of time lovers. Frequent travelers will look for digital watches that display more than one time. In Ireland and want to know the time in Boston? Just look at your watch, brave traveler, just look at your watch. From stopwatch functions to alarms, a digital wrist watch is one-stop glance for all your need.
The “Digitals” and the “Analogs” can often be seen in brutal, ugly battles in stores everywhere.
For some reason, most women we know seem to fall into the “Analog” camp. Could this reveal an inner aversion to all things TECH (ie: Digital)?
No one is buying this, are they? All right, fine! There are no brutal battles; however, analog and digital watches do offer the user different things. As far as fashion is concerned, an analog clock is considered a bit more formal and refined than a digital clock. Additionally, some people who enjoy all things retro have taken a renewed interest in those big, bulky calculator watches from the 1980s (personally, we love ‘em!). And no discussion about watches would be complete without mentioning the freaks…I mean…very bright people who get those funky watches with no numbers or just crazy designs on them, which makes them nearly impossible to read.
There’s a variety of clocks and watches for all personality types and they all reflect a myriad of personal tastes even if there aren’t any cool battles (well, at least we think of them as battles!).
No matter where you are or what watch you prefer, OnlineClock.net is there for you 24/7 when you need to set the time, or need to set an alarm.
Still, pocket watch wearers, we’re on to you.
You people are FREAKS!
