Clock Shirt

How about a version of Online Clock that you can wear? OnlineClock.net for the fashion runway?!

Well, we’re not the first ones to think of this idea – because the Clock Shirt is a real product that you can actually purchase right now.

The Clock Shirt has a real working L.E.D. digital clock on the front of it, which can be used in Clock mode or in Stopwatch mode.

 

The Clock Shirt functions with a separate battery pack contained within a hidden pocket in the shirt and runs on 4 AAA batteries. There are simple controls that enable you to set and reset the time and the stop watch function.

The Clock Shirt  is made of 100% cotton and can can be washed just like any other t-shirt but the battery pack needs to be removed beforehand.

The colon symbol (“:“) on the digital clock flashes once per second, so you’ll always know when the Clock Shirt is actually running.

If you take a look at the close-up photo of the clock’s face below, you’ll see that it has a background pattern comprised of an image of a computer circuit board, kind of reminiscent of the Matrix movies:

We can think of several novel uses for the Clock Shirt, including:

1. Count down the seconds on New Year’s Eve
2. Walk out the door at exactly 5:00 pm and then, when you pass your boss’ office, point at your shirt
3. Use it to keep track of your jogging time while running marathons or half-marathons
4. Walk onto the bus with it on and show the driver how late he is
5. Wear it to a doctor’s appointment and then sit right next to the receptionist, to show her you’re keeping track of the waiting time
6. Wear it to a restaurant and then ask the maître d’ how long it’ll be before you’ll get a table; then set the stop watch in front of him based on his answer
7. Wear it to the next NASA Space Shuttle launch
8. The perfect fashion accessory for your season tickets at the L.A. Lakers – why don’t referees wear these?!
9. Use it to time your next orgasm

We’d like to point out at this point that, although cool, the Clock Shirt does not possess any kind of wireless internet connection capabilities. It also, regrettably, does not come with a functioning LAN socket or even a dial-up modem.

For this reason, it is not truly an Online Clock Shirt.
