Get a Lift Out of Bed with the Helicopter Alarm Clock
Ladies and gentlemen, we are currently lucky enough to be living in an age experiencing a renaissance in Japanese Alarm Clock technology. The special video on display below is not for the meek at heart, and certainly not for those among you who value their sanity.
I give you – the Helicopter Alarm Clock:
Do not let me see those tears of disappointment when you realize that it’s NOT the entire Helicopter that lifts off into the air, but instead just the propeller blade at the top.
It works like this:
- You set an alarm
- You sleep
- You are awakened by a hideous racket, accompanied by the twirling of the flying propeller, which then lands somewhere in your bedroom – perhaps on your cat’s derriere
- You struggle to find the accursed propeller (now embedded deeply in cat fur), because you must place the propeller back ON TOP OF the Helicopter Alarm Clock to turn off that unholy alarm noise
- You do this, and then go back to sleep
All of this fun can be had for a mere $35 from Tokyo Trading, which is not, as another blog has reported, a company in China.
Your cat has been forewarned.
