Introducing The Space Clock

OnlineClock.net Proudly Dedicates its New Space Clock to the Men & Women Serving on the Starship Enterprise

It’s been some time since we’ve released a new online alarm clock at OnlineClock.net.

But all of you Clock Fans can now rejoice, because this post is here to announce the arrival of a new addition to the Online Clock family of online alarm clocks: The Space Clock.

The Space Clock is a another form of Binary Clock, such as our binary clock here.

Instead of a round display with spheres or circles, however, our new Binary Clock uses a rectangular design which we find way cool:

Why do we call it the Space Clock ?

Well, perhaps in honor of the time we found a copy of our online alarm clock on Nasa’s webserver.

Or perhaps because the Space Clock reminds us of something you’d see on Captain Kirk’s dashboard on the Starship Enterprise?

Or maybe because we just didn’t want to name it “Binary Clock 2“?

And probably due to all of these reasons…

Whatever the case, we hope you’ll find our new Space Clock both amusing and useful. Like all our online clocks, it also works as a fully functional online alarm clock which you can use to set helpful alarms and reminders online for free. Use it to remind yourself of upcoming meetings or set it on your laptop overnight to wake yourself up in the morning.

The time on our new Space Clock can be read by adding up the small numbers which appear in the clock’s rectangles.

The first time you look at the clock this might not seem so obvious. But just give it a try – it’s actually pretty easy.

We’ve avoided adding any kind of ‘legend’ or key that explains how to read the clock because we didn’t want to disturb its minimal layout, and we also think it’s just more fun if you try to figure out how to read the time without our help.
