Meet The Online Clock Family

Here it is 2009, Online Clock has been online for about three years, and some people are apparently still unaware that our online alarm clock website is about more than just the main alarm clock that everyone knows and loves.

Well, it’s true: we offer many different flavors in addition to plain vanilla!

For this reason, we thought it’d be a good idea to create a post that formally introduces all of the various clocks, timers, alarms and countdowns on our entire website, with short descriptions for what each one does, plus links to where you can find each of them.

So, without further ado, we hereby invite you to Meet the Online Clock Family:

The Analog Alarm Clock is an online clock using a traditional round clock face. As with all of our clocks, you can change the size of the clock face as well as the clock’s background color. Sure, you know about our digital alarm clock, but we think you might not be familiar with this, our analog version!

The Space Clock is the newest member of our Online Clock Family. The Space Clock is a rectangular kind of Binary Alarm Clock. See if you’re up to the challenge of figuring out how you can read the time using our Space Clock. We personally love Binary Clocks of all kinds…but, of course, we’re Clock Geeks.

The Binary Alarm Clock is a binary clock using spheres or balls to show the time in a binary format. As with the Space Clock, you read the time on binary clocks like this one using a different kind of system than you use for reading the time on conventional clocks. If you get stuck and can’t quite figure out how to read the time on our Binary Alarm Clock, just click the ‘Key’ link to see a hint that might help you.

Online Clock’s Mobile Alarm Clock is, you guessed it, an Online Alarm Clock designed for mobile devices. Since we don’t personally own all of the different kinds of mobile devices out there, Online Clock would be very grateful if you’d test our Mobile Alarm Clock on your mobile device and send us an email if there are problems. The Mobile Alarm Clock can of course also be used in a normal web browser, if you like, and here’s an interesting tip for you: try opening it as a pop-up from our Sitemap Page. Using the Mobile Alarm Clock in your browser can conserve “browser space”.

Want to Count Down to the weekend, New Year’s Eve, or just your birthday? Then try using our Countdown Timer. Our Countdown Timer is actually one of the most popular clocks on our entire site. People write us to tell us they enjoy using this timer to count down the date and time for any purpose you can imagine. Try it out for yourself and see why people love it! When you’ve chosen your desired date & time to count down to, you can close your browser at any time and then revisit the Countdown Timer again later…your chosen target date & time will be saved in a browser cookie.

Military Time Alarm Clock. Do you live in Europe? Or do you just prefer clocks in the 24 Hour Format like us? The 24 Hour Format rocks…it’s just clock-geekier than the normal AM/PM format and it’s also more precise. Our experience shows that it’s pretty easy to get used to using the Military Time format. Check out our Military Time Alarm Clock and give Military Time a test run for a change of pace.

Our Online Stopwatch is a stopwatch and it’s…you guessed it…online. Not a heck of a lot more to say about it, except that it also offers a cool Split Feature that works like the Lap function you might be familiar with, if you’re a runner. It also has the nice feature that you can temporarily pause your time by clicking the Stop button, and then resume it later by clicking the same button again.

And now we come to what we regard as our greatest invention: a Clock Radio you can use in your Web Browser. We were the first to invent this, folks!…so when our imitators start placing their copies of this idea online, please remember who brought it to you first! Online Clock did indeed invent the world’s first-ever Clock Radio that you can use for free in your web browser. Just choose your desired kind of online radio station – music, talk, whatever, and then enjoy the literally hundreds of different stations we make available to you!
